Another great documentary from the BBC. It gives a very balanced and matter-of-factly report of the refugee crisis, including surprisingly open and candid interviews with the main European protagonists.
It provides interesting insights on how the European Union works, especially during a crisis. It shows the differing positions of the key players both at the European institutions and the heads of government and how they manage their differences. In the end the governments of the bigger countries have to negotiate with the others to get their way.
This is the 3rd from a series on the main crisis Europe faced in the last 10 years . The other two are about the making of brexit and the debt crisis of 2010-12. All three are of exceptional quality.
